A rebutal to an attack on the Smithsonian -- a 1996 c-span interview with Brian Lamb

I remember this being an artificially created controversy so I elected to be interviewed alone as did the other interviewee.  Long time ago. In the introduction Brian said.   ”On the desk here is the May issue. Of The New Criterion magazine. And if you go down there you can see right here it says the Smithsonian today by Heather MacDonald on page seventeen. And then if you go to her concluding paragraph of this piece . It reads like this short of. Total housecleaning of staff . There is little that can save the Smithsonian from being further engulfed by the poisonous trends of a dent in the politics and post-modern theory .”  I elected to rebutt the assertion with Ms. MacDonald present.
