AN INTRODUCTION TO A "WORLD OF MUSEUM WORK" BOOK THAT NEVER HAPPENED (2008)

In 2008, a group of us considered writing a book about the changing nature of museum work.  The Museum Group of which I was (and still am) a member thought about book publication as a useful activity and it was (and might still be). 

But this particular book never happened.  Nevertheless, writing this introduction allowed me to consider the nature of the changing world of museum work.  This chapter might be considered not truly finished and uploading on my website might not seem appropriate.  I, however, think it has some good nuggets about the changing job creation and attach the incomplete writing for your use.
