Opening Museums and Surviving it.

This  power point was written to help boards of directors and staff who are in the midst of museum construction and other fundamental changes understand, prepare and survive such changes.

It is meant to be a conversation starter, slightly light humored, to be used during a time of concern and stress.

The book Institutional Trauma; the Effect of Major Change on Museum Staff , Editor, American Association of Museums, Washington DC, 1995 which I edited is intended to serve the same purpose and could be used as a companion to this discussion.
