Wanting to be the Third on your Block

Thje Paper “Being the Third on Your Block” was written for the Michigan Museum Association in 2009 and is about the process of change within and between museums.  It was a pleasure to be invited as the keynote speaker.  The paper is attached.

The paper was given again at the Henry Gallery of the Univeristy of Washinton in 2010 and videotaped. Here is 52 minutes of a video. I was invited by the Museum Studies faculty under the direction of Kris Morrisey.  Q&A follow.
