In 1985 I won the Museum Educator's award for excellence. I gave this paper (which is uploaded in typewriter font because it was typed). The paper is about the educator's need to participate in museum politics wherever they find it. I took my own advice was ran for and was elected to AAM senior leadership positions because I wanted to make sure our voices were heard. I suggest young educator's do the same. There are issues that still need addressing A copy is attached.
